What are the terms for my 3-day in-home trial?

You can trial selected items at home for 3 days, then keep and buy them, switch to hire, or return them clean and undamaged.

Trying equipment at home is the best way to feel confident before you decide. These terms keep your trial simple, fair and easy for everyone.

Trial items

Trial items are for assessment only and remain Unicare Health’s property until you purchase or return them. Please keep them clean, dry and suitable for resale.

Trial period

The standard trial period is 3 days. If you need more time, contact us before your trial ends so we can approve an extension.

Keeping items after your trial

  • Buying the items: If the trial goes well, you can keep the items onsite and purchase them, provided funds are available.
  • NDIS or Support at Home funding: If your items are funded through NDIS or Support at Home, we need confirmation that funding is available before we can approve the purchase.
  • If your circumstances change: If your situation changes or funding isn’t available, let us know and we’ll arrange collection.
  • Items left onsite: If we don’t hear back after our follow-up and the items are still onsite one month or more after your trial date, we’ll invoice you or your funding provider. Once invoiced, the items must be paid for and can’t be returned.
  • Prefer to hire? Just let us know. We’ll collect the trial item and deliver a separate rental item.

Returns and damage

We accept returns when items come back clean, complete, undamaged and within the agreed trial period. Damaged, incomplete or repairable items may incur cleaning fees, repair costs or replacement part charges.
