Installation

Qualified installers complete the installation to ensure the rails are securely fitted and compliant with safety requirements.

How Long Does Installation Take?

We understand grab rails are a critical safety item, so installation requests are prioritised.

In most cases, installation is completed within 3 working days from order confirmation. Our team will confirm expected timeframes when your quote or order is processed.

What Information Do We Need for a Grab Rail Installation?

The easiest way for us to support a grab rail installation is through a Showroom at Home visit, where our team can view the space, discuss options, assist the therapist or client with practical product suggestions, and place temporary markings on the wall for our installation team.

Many experienced therapists don't require a Showroom at Home visit, and that is fine, we will still arrange the installation. To help us arrange this, we need:

  • The installation address

  • Photos or sketches of the area where the rail is required with measurements

  • Any therapist recommendations, diagrams, or reports

  • Client or therapist contact details

  • Funding details, if applicable

If anything is unclear after the order is placed, our team will follow up with the client, therapist, or nominated contact before installation is arranged.

Installation Guarantee

Unicare Health provides a 5-year workmanship guarantee on all grab rail installations completed by our installers. This guarantee covers installation-related defects under normal intended use. Exclusions include misuse, accidental damage, corrosion, building movement, and modifications by third parties.
